Morgins for the day

Morgins is only open at the weekends at the moment and you can't get there on the lifts. But it's worth the 45 minute drive round and it's still covered on the same lift pass.
Fun corner after fun corner
There's a new track, with a good number of big jumps and drops on it. It's good, but could do with a little TLC after previous wet weekends and the usual bedding in period.
Will hits the road gap and narrowly avoids a case
The rest of the area is riding well and has had a few tweaks and new jumps/drops on each track.
Happy RR staff and friends in front of the Dents Blanches
The sun was shining and was nice to get away from Pleney for the the day!

Opening weekend in Morzine

The lifts in Les Gets opened for the weekend last weekend, but the lifts in Morzine opened there doors this weekend and will now stay open for the season.

There's been a few minor alterations that are helping the track to run well. Some better jumps and some new corners.

Everything is riding pretty well at the moment and it's great to be on the stock Saracen Myst Pro again for the season. There'll be a few modifications to the bike in the form of Hope bits, but for now it's stock and a great bike!

New mountain bike tracks don't just come into being, even out here in a commercial mountain bike resort. It takes hundreds of man hours, almost exclusively by enthusiastic volunteers.

We've been helping out with the construction of the new track under Super Morzine. It's starting to take shape, although many more hours are needed to get it resembling a finished bike track.

Here are a couple of photos from the first two days of digging. More will come as we get further along!
